This morning, Gwen Stefani called Karson and Kennedy to talk about her upcoming This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour with Eve, which kicks off at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on July 12th. “I feel like I’m in a dream,” Gwen said about the tour. “Like I got in a time warp and I went back in time,” she continued. “I never in my wildest dreams thought that I would be going on tour again.”
Since the tour kicks off in the summer, Gwen will be taking her kiddos on the road. “I think they’re really looking forward to it,” she told Kennedy. “I think their memories are more like me telling them about it. Kingston went on two tours because I got pregnant in tour rehearsals when I was gonna do the first Love. Angel. Music. Baby. tour, and I was four and a half months pregnant when I got off that tour”. Gwen looked back on how tough doing the tour pregnant was, telling Karson and Kennedy, “I cried almost every night. It was so hard.” “When I used do this song called “Serious”, I used to think I was going to throw up. I think it was because I hated how I looked in my outfit, ’cause I kept getting fatter and fatter, and I was like ‘Oh my God I’m going to throw up about myself right now!'”
Gwen Stefani also dished about Blake Shelton‘s Kentucky Fried Chicken proposal and whether or not he’ll be joining her on tour for some duet performances. Listen to her whole interview at the beginning of the article!
