The only reason we know it’s 2016 and not 1997 this morning, is because the trends on social media are on social media, which didn’t exist back then.

The brothers of Hanson are trending hard this morning after giving a moving acoustic performance of their song “Mmmbop” on ABC’s Greatest Hits last night, and we totally understand why. Isaac, Taylor, and Zac’s vocals have never sounded stronger.

Being the biased Fansons that we are, we couldn’t help but point out how good the brothers sounded during their performance of the National Anthem back in May. You can check out that performance here. Hanson’s acoustic rendition of “Mmmbop”, which has been a staple of their concerts over the past 20 years, was no exception last night.

The stripped down version may sound emotional and moving to those who haven’t heard it before, but us Fansons have been feeling the acoustic “Mmmbop” feels for a solid two decades now. See what everyone’s talking about this morning by watching Hanson’s moving performance below!
