Didn’t get away with relaxing on Mother’s Day? That’s why National Lazy Mom’s Day exists.

This year, September 2nd marks the unofficial holiday, so if you’re a mom, you better get to relaxing ASAP! We know that the task of relaxing sounds impossible to most moms, so we’ve laid out a guide of things you can be lazy about, while still hitting your mom goals today.

1. Don’t make coffee.

Splurge a little and treat yourself to Starbucks today. And have your spouse or kids pick up the order. Want a pumpkin spice latte before it comes out? Tell the person picking up your coffee about Starbucks’ PSL early access pass. ‘Cause you deserve it, mom!

2. No chores allowed!

Dishes stacking up? Laundry basket getting full? It’s not your problem today. Do not do any work around the house until tomorrow, or better yet, have your family take over your mom duties today!

3. Read a book.

You know that book you’ve been meaning to read for, say, the past three years? Plant your pajama-wearing self down on the couch, or just stay in bed this morning, and get cracking!

4. Order takeout for dinner.

As much as your kids probably love your cooking, they’ll probably be excited about getting takeout for dinner tonight too. Since today is all about being lazy, have it delivered!

5. Netflix and chill.

Here’s another lazy pastime that you can enjoy with your family. Have the kids make the microwave popcorn!
