Gotta love a girl with confidence.

Yesterday morning, Yahoo released an exclusive interview with Demi Lovato, where the singer unapologetically called out Taylor Swift and her entire squad.

First, she commented on Swift’s squad, and how no one in it has a “normal” body. “This will probably get me in trouble, but I don’t see anybody in any sort of squad that has a normal body,” she said in the interview. “It’s kind of this false image of what people should look like,” Lovato confessed.

Then she commented on Taylor Swift’s song, “Bad Blood.” “I think that having a song and a video about tearing Katy Perry down, that’s not women’s empowerment.”

As per usual, Demi received tons of backlash for dropping truth bombs. And as per usual, she wont be issuing an apology for her unfiltered comments.

This morning, the singer tweeted out a simple message in her defense: “I get asked questions. I answer them. Sue me.”

While she refused to apologize for her comments, Demi did suggest that some of what she said may have been taken out of context.

Based on her reply to the question below, she may be referring the part about no one in the squad having a “normal” body.

After about a half hour of defending herself in replies, Demi came to the conclusion that people shouldn’t care so much about what she thinks.
