The mother/daughter acting duo looked absolutely stunning on Netflix Germany’s red carpet, as you can see in the photos below.

While many fans at the event posted spoilers containing footage of the episode itself, and what Alexis and Lauren had to say about it, we did manage to find some interviews that didn’t spoil anything.

Unfortunately, this first one is buried in a mostly German-speaking Facebook live video from Netflix’s Germany account, but if you fast-forward 34 minutes into the video below, you will eventually get to see Alexis and Lauren’s English-speaking interview.

“It really picks up with the three Gilmore women — Emily, Lorelai and Rory — as they’re mourning the loss of Richard, so they all come home to stars Hollow,” Alexis says about the Winter episode. “It’s not the cheeriest beginning,” she warned, “but it really catapults us all into these character arcs. We have to sort of reevaluate our lives, each of us, so it’s a bit more emotional, a bit more mature than the original series, but it’s still really funny and all the characters come back, so hopefully people will love it.”

In an attempt to keep this a spoiler-free zone, the next interview features Alexis and Lauren on the red carpet, answering personal questions about the show.

When asked if there was anything that didn’t happen in the revival that she wished had, Lauren Graham began tearing up about how fulfilling the whole experience was for her. She and Alexis also talked about their relationship with one another outside of the show, and their thoughts on the Presidential election.

Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life premieres the day after Thanksgiving (November 25) on Netflix. If you’re trying to avoid spoilers about the show until then, we suggest you stay away from all coverage (except ours) on the Berlin event!
