Cue the theme song!

Over the weekend, the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 reunited for the first time since it premiered in 1990, and it was just as magical as you’d expect.

When fans think of the show, twins Brandon and Brenda Walsh instantly come to mind, as its entire premise was based on their characters’ adjustment to the Beverly Hills lifestyle. Unfortunately, Shannen Doherty was unable to attend RewindCon’s event due to breast cancer treatment, and her absence was felt by attendees Jennie Garth (Kelly), Luke Perry (Dylan) Jason Priestley (Brandon), Tori Spelling (Donna), and Gabrielle Carteris (Andrea).

Garth, who played Doherty’s frenemy, is actually her bestie in real life. On the day of the event, she posted a touching message about her “soul sister” to Instagram.

“I’m so proud of this friendship and the mutual respect and admiration we have for each other,” Doherty responded to Garth.

“None of us are up here today without Shannen,” Luke Perry said at the event. “She’s been through a lot. She’s not doing well right now, but sometimes her contributions are minimized.”

“She’s been thrown under the bus,” he continued. “I’ve been accused of driving it. But she’s a very big part of the success of this show. She taught me a lot. I’m glad she was my scene partner. She was great at what she did in the character with me.”

Despite missing main players Doherty, Brian Austin Green (David) Ian Ziering (Steve), and Peach Pit owner Joe E. Tata (Nat), the cast managed to still give off the diner’s vibes when they posed together in the photo below.

Ian Ziering melted our hearts when he posted a screen shot of his video chat with Garth, Perry, Spelling, and Carteris at the event.

Do we smell a reboot?
