Every year, people of all ages wait around for the movies to start airing on TV! One of the stars of the movie was Debbie Reynolds who unfortunately passed away yesterday. She played Agatha Cromwell who was Marnie Piper’s, played by Kimberly J. Brown, grandmother.
In honor of Reynolds’ passing, Brown posted on Facebook a throwback photo of the two on set. She shared a heartfelt message, “Debbie lived her life like all of us should, to the fullest. She was bold, funny, and had the biggest heart.”
She went on to reveal that, “her sparkly smile warmed every room she was in, and her jokes about her amazing career and life would make your stomach hurt with laughter.” Reynolds’ character was very close to who she was as a person as well. “‘Being normal is vastly overrated’ is a quote from Halloweentown,’ and how fitting it is that her character spoke it. Her generosity, talent, and loving spirit made her anything but normal. Thanks for the magic, Debbie. Rest in peace.”
According to E! News, “She went to be with Carrie. In fact, those were the last words that she spoke this morning” he revealed. “More specifically, she said that she really, she was under a lot of stress.”
