Ariana Grande Scores First Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 With "Thank U, Next"

The breakup anthem debuted at No. 1 and broke records!

Ariana Grande's "Thank u, Next" debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and the only shocking thing about this is that it is Ari's first No. 1!

According to Billboard, the last female to debut at No. 1 was Adele with her hit single "Hello" three years ago. Though "Thank U, Next" is the 'Sweetener' singer's first No.1 on the Hot 100, it is her 11th top 10!

A fan posted this screenshot from Ariana a few months ago, showing how humble and deserving she is of this accomplishment:

According to Complex, Grande is the first artist in history to debut in the Hot 100's top 10 with the lead single from each of her first five albums and is the first female artist to reach No. 1 on the Hot 100 this year unaccompanied by another artist!

Between the iconic lyrics & cheery melody, it is no surprise that this is the single to bring Ari on top. She continuously shows appreciation for her fans on social media and proves how grateful she is for all her success.
