After JAY-Z's entertainment company, Roc Nation, announced that they entered a partnership with the NFL as the official Live Music Entertainment Strategists, the rapper is answering some questions regarding potential performers.

The 2020 NFL championship game is scheduled to take place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on Feb. 2, with a halftime show that may honor the city's heritage.

ET's reporter asked JAY-Z if Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Iglesias and Pitbull, who all have strong ties to Miami, could be in the running to headline.

"Not in those terms. We had this conversation, you can't go to a city, plop a show down and then leave. Like, at least speak to the community. Speak to the guys that's on the ground organizing things and trying to make things better, in that sort of way," JAY-Z responded.

He also mentions that he doesn't want to run into that problem, eluding to the fact that the performers might have connections to the city where future Super Bowls will be held, but that is not necessarily how they are going to go about decision-making.

Jay-Z also also reacted to rumors surrounding Rihanna as the next headliner, after she allegedly turned down this year's halftime show.

"You have to ask her. That's a tough question," Jay responded.
