Now that Halloween is over, Christmas season is officially here. As the weather gets colder, with predicted snowfall this Friday, the more everyone wants to kick the holiday festivities into gear.

The 65-foot tall Faneuil Hall tree arrived on Monday to get decorated before the annual tree lighting in December. This is the city's largest Christmas tree lighting. This tree will be the centerpiece of BLINK!, which is a light and sound performance from December 3rd until January 1st. The performance begins every 30 minutes between the hours of 4:30 P.M. and 10:00 P.M.

Lighting on the tree is very complex; it synchronizes the blinking lights to holiday tunes such as Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" and Michael Buble's "Jingle Bells."

This Norway Spruce travels from New York on a very, very large truck.

You won't want to miss Faneuil Hall Marketplace’s Holiday Spectacular this holiday season!
