Lance Bass took to social media the other day to let fans know that his bid for the iconic Brady Bunch house, which was recently put on the market, was not accepted. He was "heartbroken" after "the agent representing the property informed us we made the winning bid."

Now, we have learned the identify of this corporate buyer who would pay any amount for the house -- it's HGTV!! According to LA Times, the network nabbed the house in Studio City, CA.

The Chief Executive, David Zaslav, of Discovery Inc., who now owns HGTV, made a statement today saying, “one of our projects for HGTV will speak to those Brady Bunch fans on the call." The want to restore the house to its "1970s glory."

Honestly, HGTV fans could get one great series with this purchase. "More detail to come over the next few months but we’ll bring all the resources to bear to tell safe, fun stories about this beloved piece of American TV history.”

Let's just hope they don't add this house into an episode of House Hunters...
