According to NJ.com, Anthony was walking home when he heard a cry coming from inside the sewer drain. He discovered a tiny dog, Peanut, trapped. Without hesitiation, Anthony pulled the sewer cover off and hopped right down to attempt to rescue Peanut.

His cousin, Jennifer, was standing by watching him. She said, "I couldn't believe it. He jumped right into action."

Peanut is a 16-year-old Chihuahua who is blind and suffers from partial hearing loss. He had been missing for three days before Anthony found and rescued him.

The entire neighborhood had been on the lookout for Peanut, and thankfully, Anthony was in the right place in the right time and was brave enough to spring into action.

Peanut's owner, Randall Harris, could not put into words how thankful he was for Anthony. "Im proud of that young man. I can't praise him enough," Harris shared.
