Feel Good Story: Canadian Air Traffic Controllers Spread The Love With Pizza

This feel good story will make you feel all sorts of love for Canada. 

With the recent government shutdown, essential federal employees have been showing up to work without pay, including air traffic controllers here in America. Well, our neighbors to the north stepped up in a big way.

According to The Star, Canadian air traffic controllers have purchased hundreds of pizzas and sent them to 36 different facilities in America, and that number continues to grow. Peter Duffey, the head of the Canadian Air Traffic Control Association, said the initiative began last Thursday, and has snowballed around the office.

"The next thing we knew, our members were buying pizzas left, right and centre for the colleagues in the U.S,” Duffey said.

Duffey also shared that as of yesterday afternoon, 300 pizzas have been delivered to American controllers. The air traffic controllers in Canada are nothing short of amazing!
