This Feel Good Story comes out of Ashby, Massachusetts and tells a story of Kaiser, a 5-year-old king shepherd who had himself a little journey.

According to Bangor Daily News, Kaiser disappeared last June after jumping over a wall at a friends home that was caring for him while the family was away. Now, eight months later, Kaiser has finally be found 175 miles away in South Paris, Maine.

There was such amazing efforts by volunteers and employees at animal shelters and missing dog groups across three different states.

Tom Woollacott and his family spent the last 8 months tirelessly looking for Kaiser, and never gave up hope. "I spent like three or four weeks just putting 1,500 miles on my car. Every day," Tom said.

As for what Kaiser did on his long walk... nobody knows. Tom said he would believe that he meandered all the way to Maine by himself because of the kind of dog he is.

The Woollacott's were reunited with Kaiser this past Sunday and are overjoyed to be back with their pup.
