Feel Good Story: Georgia Teen Donates His Make-A-Wish Gift While Battling Cancer

Matthew gifted his Make-A-Wish to his physician.

This Feel Good Story comes out of Georgia and shares the amazing story of 16-year-old Matthew Gould.

According to Inside Edition, Matthew was diagnosed with stage four T-cell leukemia back in 2016. He underwent chemo treatmemt, and unfortunately became paralyzed. Matthew's doctors taught him to walk all over again.

Dr. Ryan Summers conducts childhood cancer research, and is one of the people that witnessed Matthew's journey. 

When Make-A-Wish and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta offered Matthew Gould whatever he wanted, Matthew's decision amazed everybody.

He decided to gift Dr. Summers in the form of a $5,000 check.

"I decided if I could somehow help other people, that would be a wish for me, that would make me happy," Matthew said.

Matthew shares that he plans to study medicine one day so he can research cancer himself.
