Erin HOST 2019

Erin O'Malley

I’ve wanted to be on the radio for as long as I can remember. I used to pretend my hairbrush was a microphone & practice for hours, until falling asleep next to my stereo. There’s a certain joy that comes from living your childhood dream every day and it never, ever gets old.

After graduating college, I was on the air in Wheeling, WV, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh and Portland, Oregon before calling Mix in Boston “home.” I truly love this station and this city and am so thankful to be here.

One of my favorite events has always been our “Radiothon” fundraiser at Boston Children’s Hospital. I loved it long before I met my husband and had our son. Years after Mix’s Radiothon began, the full circle moment of my life came when that very same hospital saved our only child’s life, twice. I’ve had the honor of running the Boston Marathon as part of the Boston Children’s Hospital team in 2016 and 2017, as a way to earn donations while training for the hardest thing I could think of to thank them for saving our Gabe.

I’m a big believer in kindness and you’ll hear plenty of “Feel Good Stories” between 10a-2p on Mix 104.1. I’m always on the hunt for more, so feel free to share one I may have missed-anytime!
